If you are interested in competing particularly in
carriage driving or dressage, Amanda Saville is keen to pass on her expertise
and enthusiasm. Late in 1998 she acquired a Scottish farm near
Lockerbie which she has transformed into a top class carriage driving
centre, and the facilities Amanda can now offer are extensive.
The Driving Centre has stabling and grazing for
over 40 horses and ponies, an indoor arena, outdoor menage and purpose
built driving hazards; along with miles of wonderful driving out in
the Scottish Borders to improve fitness. Clients can also take
advantage of the excellent Bed and Breakfast
accommodation in the farmhouse itself.
The Centre specialises in competition preparation
and schooling, both ridden and driven, novice to advanced. Why

legged accommodation!
The Centre’s ‘Try Driving Days’ are a
great way for clubs and friends to have an introduction to carriage
driving under enjoyable and safe conditions.
Prices
Full Livery starts from around £85 per week and lessons from
around £25. Other prices for breaking, training, clinics, try driving
specials, clipping, trimming,
problem solving, residential B & B and scenic carriage drives are
