Training Clinics, Demonstrations and Team Building Workshops
The Chariots of Fire Driving Centre is developing an excellent reputation for introducing carriage driving through their Try Driving Days, bringing the sport to those who might otherwise not have the chance. The fun and adrenaline rush that can be experienced is addictive encouraging many to take up the sport! If you get hooked you can carry on learning through individual tuition and competition opportunities at the Centre. The Chariots Team are also able to travel to your venue and deliver the Try Driving experience to groups and clubs.
Natural Horsemanship Clinics From January we will be holding a Natural Horsemanship Clinic every month. Bring your horse to us and we will help you both to solve riding or driving issues. Learn to read what your horse is telling you and adapt your skills accordingly. It is easy to misjudge a situation when the horse is misbehaving, making the assumption that it is being naughty whereas, in fact, it is their way of explaining that there is an issue. Amanda’s intuition and experience can help you to rectify this to save you just getting frustrated! The charge will be £60 per client with one horse and it is anticipated that sessions will be up to an hour and a half depending on the situation. Within each session the objective is to get a picture of the issues that prevent a natural join up between horse and rider/driver. Then having read the situation and seen the existing communication, Amanda can channel both your energies towards the same goal and understanding. This will be done through simplifying aids and ensuring they are clear, with no misinterpretation. During the day there may also be the opportunity to sit in on other sessions by arrangement. Team Building Workshops
- with a difference!! Does your team feel stagnant? Is there
conflict in the workplace? It might help to get them out of the work
situation and challenge them with an activity that is probably totally alien to
them!! This
involves using ponies and carriages in a controlled situation and has proved
very successful in seeing individual characteristics, which might not be
exhibited within the comfort zone of their knowledge and expertise.
